Assisi

Approximately 80 kilometers south of Casa Bosco Assisi is situated, a beautiful medieval town on the flanks of Monte Subasio, with narrow, hilly streets and picturesque shops. The city of Saint Francis, who according to tradition could talk to the birds and even received the stigmata of Christ, attracts many pilgrims. They all visit St. Francis Basilica, including the crypt of St. Francis, who towers high above Assisi.
